Prague
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic, and is considered to be the “Heart of Europe” Prague is considered to be amongst one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The City has many historical sites and is split into two by the river, there is the old town, first mentioned in 1091 the and new town founded by Charles IV in 1348. The new town was re-developed at the beginning of the 19th century and is very much more modern and metropolitan. Since tourism has grown over the past few decades, there are lots of lively cafés and restaurants, fascinating sightseeing, museums, theatres, elegant shops all to be explored. Prague Castle is the most popular sight visited in Prague and is the largest ancient castle in the world. There is so much to see and do within Prague, whether visiting a historical site, or browsing in the many shops or markets to be found in the many side or main streets or one of the squares, there are many restaurants and cafe bars that you can sit and relax in just watching the people of Prague and its visitors going about their daily business– all in a very relaxed way.
The Surgeons

Prague is a member of the European Union, therefore you are protected by the same legal and medical regulations as if you had the surgery in Britain. All surgeons speak fluent English and some have qualified within the UK and belong to the GMC (General medical Council) within the UK.
Within the Czech Republic, cosmetic surgery is an advanced and regulated discipline, so much more so than it is regulated within the UK. The cosmetic procedures and the modern equipment used by the medical staff at the Clinic are identical or comparable to the facilities found in the USA, Great Britain or Germany.
The surgeries are carried out by highly qualified, experienced specialists. Czech legislation ensures that the strictest quality precautions are compliable with European standards. Czech law does not allow general surgeons to carry out plastic surgery operations. A general surgeon must undergo an additional period of at least 5 years of specialization study within their elected field, in this case cosmetic surgery, training, checks and a final exam in order to attain the certification as a Plastic Surgeon must be undertaken. After certification, an additional three years are required of continuous, documented practice in plastic surgery before a plastic surgeon obtains the competence and full authority as a certified Specialized Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon.
The surgeons at the clinic we use have many years experience and are highly qualified, they take great pride within their specialist field of cosmetic surgery. The surgeons have undergone much training and work within the UK, Canada and the USA.
