Julie Russell, Managing Director of PR Surgery Ltd, Since 1996 Julie has continually worked within the health care industry; having started with an American based company with over 146 branches throughout the United Kingdom, coordinating care for a variety of patients including the young, the elderly, disabled, able bodied and patients with mental health needs; working closely with healthcare disciplines such as doctors, nurses, social service teams etc; Julie was responsible for assessing the needs of her clients; including suitability for care within the community, ensuring the correct level of nursing care was being provided and whether hospital or care homes would be more suitable; responsible also for assessing if establishments were able to provide a specific level of care as required for each client. Julie has since been the Deputy Manager and training Manager of a care home for several years, as well as acting manager for several months, until recently she has been the Operations Manager of another company sending people overseas for surgery which gave her the incentive to start up her own business.
Julie holds a BA (hons) in business, HND Business & Finance, RMA & NVQ 4 in Healthcare, CIPD qualifications in Personnel, Various teaching & training qualifications plus many healthcare qualifications & certificates.
Liza Dooley, Managing Director of PR Surgery Ltd, Liza has worked within this industry for a couple of years as Client Liaison Manager, coordinating the sending of clients abroad for surgery; Her original interest in the industry came from having weight loss surgery overseas herself in Belgium in July 2005. (See her story in Patient stories) Liza's personal experience can only help others when making the decision to have surgery overseas. Liza developed skills by working closely with the various disciplines from abroad such as nurses, dieticians, surgeons and directors of healthcare establishments in understanding how the international healthcare system works, and thus how to implement the correct healthcare and ensure which procedures are suited to individual clients. Having helped her husband set up and run a number of successful businesses from putting together business plans to implementing the business strategy they developed between them, as well as employing staff ensuring the correct staffing mix is achieved. She has now realised her ambition of starting up her own business, which she has wanted to do ever since having had her operation. Liza has excellent skills in sales and customer service, having worked mainly in those fields over the years.
Liza holds GNVQ business and finance qualifications and also various secretarial, administrational and customer services qualifications.

Marc will be your main point of contact should you require any assistance whilst in Brugge at times when the escort system is not in place, on arrival at your hotel you will be provided with an itinery from Marc explaining how your surgery experience will be undertaken. He will meet you at the hospital before your pre-operative consultation and answer any and all questions you may have. The above nursing/dietician team will meet with you at your pre-operative consultation and also during your stay at hospital discussing with you your dietry needs after surgery. The team are available for you to contact after surgery once you are home should you need their guidance and advice.

All of your needs whilst in Malta will be catered for by Lucianne & Edward, they will assist you throughout your surgery experience and should you have any concerns or queries they will be more than happy to assist you. Upon your arrival one of the team will provide you with a mobile phone, this is for use within Malta only.
