Kuala Lumpur, affectionately known as KL, is an amazing cultural melting pot. Here, you will wander through communities of Chinese, Malays, South Indians, East Malaysian ethnic groups, Thais, Indonesians, Sikhs and a huge community of expats. Each community offering its own festivals, food, music, art and fashion while influencing each other's cultures.
KL has a lively nightlife scene and a fascinating art and performance culture, which blends contemporary and traditional styles from many backgrounds. There is the widest range of sporting activities available with state-of -the-art facilities to impress any sporting enthusiast. The architecture is somewhat eccentric and is certainly unique, from hundred year old mansions to awe-inspiring sky scrapers, and all within metres of each other. Treat your tastebuds to Kuala Lumpur's extremely varied cuisine, which is certainly a tasty adventure in itself! Above all else KL is a shopping haven, offering everything from street side trinkets to haute couture.

The resulting kaleidoscope of cultures, costumes and cuisines is nothing short of a whirlwind for the senses - more intense here than anywhere else in the country.
Malaysia including the city Kuala Lumpur is seeing a boom in the medial tourism industry (please see news & events for items of up to date information) more and more international visitors are seeking health care and cosmetic surgery of high quality with certified surgeons at affordable prices. Malaysia’s fees for medical care are priced very competitively; yet do not compromise on quality, which matches the fees of some of the best surgeons and hospitals in the world.
The Surgeons
Medical expertise in Malaysia rank among the best in the world and most private hospitals in the country have internationally recognised quality standards. The majority of private cosmetic surgeons and dentists working in Malaysia train and qualify in the UK, Australia or the US. The training in Malaysia is equivalent to the British system so surgeons must firstly qualify in medicine, then surgery, before going on to post graduate training to receive a qualification as a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon. Cosmetic surgeons need to be members of the Malaysian Association of Surgeons and the Malaysian Association of Plastic Surgeons. Most private hospitals in the country have internationally recognised quality standards such as the MS ISO9002 or are accreditation by the Malaysian Medical Society for Quality of Health (MSQH). All private medical centres must be approved and licensed by the Malaysian Ministry of Health. Some of the hospitals we use also have JCI, (joint commission International accreditation) JCI is a subsidiary of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) which was founded in the U.S in 1951 and currently accredits nearly 80% of hospitals in the United States. JCI sets standards for hospitals focused on one goal: raising the safety and quality of care to the highest possible level, this is now highly recognised and sought after by many international hospitals world wide, ensuring patients safety. For full details please view what JCI accrediation is under News & events.
Medical specialists are highly qualified professionals with extensive qualifications from the UK, Australia and the USA and are supported by well-trained para-medical staff and state-of-the-art, well-equipped and well-staffed private medical centres with extensive diagnostic and therapeutic resources. All medical staff speak English. Malaysia has an excellent medical reputation and attracts visitors from around the globe for the high standards of cosmetic surgery which costs a fraction of the price in the UK.
The Hospitals
Although we work with several hospitals within Kuala Lumpur, we predominately work with the two hospitals as detailed below, the first hospital is for those who wish to go that one step further and undergo the whole pampering experience at an establishment which not only has highly qualified staff & surgeons but also has exceptional decor & well thought out facilities throughout the building. The second hospital we use also has highly qualified surgeons & staff with more than adequate rooms, the hospital is run by a non profit making organisation, money made by the hospital is split, 75% of profit goes back into training of staff/surgeons and equipment for the hospital, the remaining 35% is spent on healthcare for the underprivellaged people of malaysia, not only those living in Kuala Lumpur but also people living in the more remote villages further field. Due to this the building itself is not quite so aesthetically pleasing to the eye as our first hospital & although the rooms are more than comfortable and spacious for our patients luxury is not quite so important to the hospital as our first hospital.

Our first hospital is a private healthcare facility located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Fully owned by Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil company, and managed by Vamed, a highly respected Austrian hospital management company, in collaboration with the Medical University of Vienna, it is a futuristically designed 300-bed centre with revolutionary facilities and high standards of patient care. The hospital has JCI accreditation.
It aims to be the leading healthcare provider in Asia. Their Centres of Excellence offer a wide range of services, solutions and technology that satisfy various needs and conditions. Our scope of services includes cosmetology, cardiology, burns treatment, plastic surgery, solutions for wellness for men, women and children treatment and consultancy
