PR Surgery Ltd are based at Solihull within the West Midlands, and are a private UK company that facilitates surgery for people wishing to benefit from the outstanding facilities and expert specialisms of hospitals and surgeons that we have forged professional working relationships with throughout the world.
PR Surgery are very pasionate about what we do, between us we have several years experience of working within this industry during which time we have built up an excellent working relationship & reputation with both patients and surgeons. This has also been achieved through personal experiences of undergoig surgery ourselves! We would not send anyone for surgery to a hospital or surgeon that we would not personally be happy undergoing surgery with ourselves. To ensure the hospitals/clinics & surgeons we use are to a high standard we undertake audits based on guidlines provided through the HealthCare commision here in the UK, we look not only at the physical appearance of establishments we recommend but also at hospital annual reports, infection rates, morbidity rates, success rates of surgeons and the surgeons specialisms that they have trained for. We have contracts in place with hospitals/clinics in each country we work with ensuring that patient care and protection is paramount.
We decided to launch & develop PR Surgery because we wanted to help people realise that they can achieve what they want, whether that be a tummy tuck or weight loss surgery in a safe environment at prices they can afford with high quality surgeons. This is mainly due to the following factors, as some team members have already undergone surgery abroad they know all of the issues that you will be faced with from booking travel, booking hotels to the surgery itself, this we recognise can be extremely daunting, after all which surgeons are good, which should be avoided? we understand that there is a gap to be filled in ensuring that all of these uncertainties and the legwork required to find the answers to these questions is covered to enable you to have peace of mind.
We also recognise the importance of aftercare within the UK, due to this we have worked closely with other proffessionals to ensure that this is available to all of our clients, regardless of the surgery they have had abroad, throughout the UK on their return.
PR Surgery can provide you with as much assistance as you require when booking surgery abroad, you may only want us to book you into your surgery at the hospital, however we can also assist with your hotel accommodation, travel etc. We are here to assist with as much or little of your surgery experience as you require from us.
What services do we provide?
Your surgery price will include your pre-consultation, with cosmetic surgery it will also include all pre-operative tests such as bloods etc. There is an additional charge for your pre operative tests in Belgium for bariatric surgery. The price includes your bed- usually in a private room, TV, meals, 24 hr nursing care during your hospital stay, nursing care at the hotel where applicable, operating theatre, Medications & dressings, additional prefessional help such as a dietician where applicable, post operative consultation with your surgeon.
Medication for 7 days where applicable, removal of dressings/stiches.
- Telephone conference call
If required or upon your request, we can arrange either a direct telephone call between yourself and the consultant or alternatively arrange a three-way conference call between your consultant, you and ourselves before and after the surgery. We will endevour to do all we can to ensure that this occurs at a time suitable to yourself. This will be an opportunity for you to talk freely with the Consultant who will try to answer any queries or concerns that you may have.
At the offices we have the resources to provide you with the oportunity of having a vido conference call, this is very much like your telephone call however you are able to also see your surgeon on screen, you can speak freely to your surgeon who will answer any queries or concerns that you may have.
Flights, trains or whichever method of transport you decide to make your journey with can all be arranged for you to assist in making your whole experience hassle free. One of PR Surgeries representatives will discuss your budget with you and the best method of travel rior to completing any ourney transactions. Please note that the surgery prices do not include accommodation or travel costs.
Transfers are available at all of our destinations, some transfers are included within your surgery costs, please clarify with your PR Surgery representative at time of booking.
Before your departure you will be provided with a hospital contact number and also a number of conatct for the person that will be within the country of your choice who will ensure your surgery experience is as seemless as possible. You will also be provided with a contact number for a team member at PR Surgery, this number is available to you 24/7.
We provide an escort/buddy system for some destinations, please clarify with your PR Surgery representative, an escort will meet you at your destination and assist you throughout your pre-consultation and surgery experience. The system works with larger group numbers having surgery at the same time.
Please note that depending upon the type of surgery you have and also the type of tourist attraction you wish to visit, it is advisable that you visit any attraction prior to having surgery, it is not advisable to undertake any activities that are too physical after surgery, please be led by your consultant with what you can or cannot do following surgery. However, should you wish any attractions to be arranged for you whilst away, please speak to your representative to arrange this for you. |
